The next night, we made it to St. George where Kim and Dave live. We were sad to miss Stephanie as we were there (She is Kim and Dave's oldest daughter and was in the bottom of the Grand canyon giving river tours), but glad to have seen Brook and Sasha and of course, "little lion" as the girls' have dubbed their dog. The kids enjoyed swimming in their pool and hot tub.
Here is the view from Kim and Dave's backyard! Can you imagine waking up to this every morning?! Sometimes you don't realize what you are missing until you are reminded of it...and so it goes with mountains. We don't feel too bad not having them around us, but after this trip, it makes us miss the mountains!!! We couldn't stop staring at them!!! The kids swam with Sasha, their cousin for most of the day which resulted in.....
car drives like this! After a short stop with Kim and Dave, we were on to California.
