More of our life

A week after the Eliana's birth, Regan attended outdoor ed where he slept overnight with his fellow 5th grade classmates and teachers at a camp. He came back happy, tired, and very dirty! We are so glad that he had so much fun!!! We missed him!...yes...even one night away made us miss him!
My Dad decided to fly into Chicago to celebrate his 60th with all of us. Can't believe that my Dad is 60! I wouldn't guess a day over 25... :-)

Beings that I am trying to catch up on blog posts...I can't really remember what we did on Dad's birthday other than just be together. We are so grateful that he was able to come and be with all of us! Here we are singing the annual Pierson traditional birthday song of, "We're glad you're..." It took a while to get to 60. :-) We love you, Dad!!!

My Mom sewed a beautiful baby car seat cover for Eliana. I get compliments on it all the time! While the sewing machine was out...this was my Mom's sewing machine that she bought herself when she was 18 years old...Maile and Regan wanted to help her, so she had them sew a strap for the car seat cover each. They did an awesome job!

Papa played a different version of Monster game this time around...he played the piggies game instead. The girls all loved having their piggies caught! They would run up to him and throw themselves down with their feet in his lap saying, 'Papa...get my piggies...get my piggies!"
