The older kids loved playing with Papa too. When they were done helping Grandma Red with the sewing stuff, they came to play monster with Papa.

For Papa's birthday, we bought him the game, "Chronology." I recommend this game for any history buffs, such as my Dad. We went around the table, but the game stopped when it was Papa's turn as he kept guessing all the dates correctly. We laughed so hard as we would ask him a question, and not only would he state the actual date, he would go on to tell us the history and background to that event. The man was unstoppable!!!

It was a sad day when my Mom and Dad left. My Mom stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks to take care of all of us...and we are a motley crew! She ran the house like a mint. She cooked for us daily and cooked 20 freezer meals before she left! We had a ton of fun with Maggie Magoo...my pet name for her. She is so amazing and wonderful! Who else would do what she does? She sacrificed her time...and sleep...to be with us. We love and adore this red headed queen. She has blessed our lives beyond dreams! We are so lucky to have her!!! We love you, Maggie Magoo! You are the life of the party! We can't wait to see you soon! Thank you for EVERYTHING!!! You make it seem effortless, you talented lady, you! Words don't even begin to describe how grateful we are for you! Warm up your go-go boots, cause we're ready to party with you soon!

I rarely have pictures of Eliana with her eyes opened...but here is one.

I printed out your tribute to me, made me get a big fat red nose...the blessing was all mine to be able to be in the "happiest house on earth". Loved every minute. Love you more!
