Ok..I posted these in the wrong order...so bare with us. :-) Here we are AFTER Ariana's performance. She was the best!!! :-) Of course!!! :-)
I took a picture of Ariana and Ryan walking from her ballet performance last year and wanted to do the same again this year. I love seeing them walk hand in hand.
Chelsea and Kyla wanted to come to the performance with us. Kyla started to get "active" through the performance. Ryan bought her m&m's to help her through it..we tried writing on her back, she did a potty break with Chelsea, etc. We were grateful when the curtains came down so that she could run around afterwards. Kyla told us that she wants to take ballet classes in the fall...so it looks like we will have 2 ballerinas! Ariana was so happy to get flowers. It's funny how some things stick out in a kid's mind. She asked me a few days earlier if she was going to get flowers like last year. I was amazed that she remember that. What female doesn't like getting flowers?! Well, she did indeed get them again this year!
Earlier that morning, before the show, we tried cleaning the house and switching out winter clothes to summer clothes. Kyla lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw her two favorite skirts from last year. She then danced around and carried 5 skirts in her arms. She loves changing her clothes and apparently carrying them around too!
Ana was excited about her dance recital that was to come later that day. We are so proud of her!
