For the record

I know that this picture is out of order date-wise, but I thought I would put it in despite the order. I wanted to depict how our kids go to school here in Chicago-land. We have three brave weather warriors here in our house. We had a few cold snaps in December. My poor Mom didn't know what hit her when we had sub-zero temps! The kids play outside on the playground at school until the wind chill is below 0. It's funny how kids never complain about the temps. I can't say the same for the adults. Today it is "warm" because it snowed last night and is overcast. I want to say that it is in the upper 20's. We still love living here. :-)
