It is hard to believe that our baby is 3 years old!!! How did that happen?! In our family, we wear the birthday cape and crown which she really liked as she came down our stairs. Usually the birthday queen/king gets to choose the day's menu, but when we asked her the day before, she requested cupcakes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We surprised her with her favorite cereal instead...something she gets on special occasions...LUCKY CHARMS! She was really excited about this one!
The day before, she picked out a pink trike. We all went to Target and watched her pick out the pink one specifically. After eating her breakfast, she jumped on her trike. She really liked the fact that she could put "Carmine" in the back and take him for a ride. We are trying to get her to use the peddles vs. Fred Flinstoning it. :-)
For church, she wore the outfit that the Bryce family gave her...an adorable monkey dress...it fits her so well! For her dessert, we made cupcakes. This picture was taken after attempting to take a few before she could eat her cake. Notice that she is not liking the wait time and would rather eat the cupcake instead. I love her face!
She really enjoyed eating her cupcake! After a while, I looked over at her and saw that she was sporting a frosting goatee. So cute!
