We made homemade waffles for our true first day of summer vacation. Eva ate a portion of her waffle to turn it into a truck looking object. She called it her train and then proceeded to choo choo the waffle all around the table telling the kids to look at her train. It was really cute!
I woke up at 6 am to the sounds of thumping. I found Regan down on the wii outdoor game. He was practicing his jumping skills. He was frustrated the day before that Maile had an edge on him, so he got up early on his own to practice.
We decided to go for a walk to the kids' school playground. It was so nice to walk out in the sunshine and not have a schedule to keep!!! YAY summer!
