After having Potbelly's (a Chicago yummy place to eat!) for lunch, the kids wait patiently for the plane to come in and then take them. Their plane was late arriving into Chicago...and late taking them to Portland.
Maile, Regan, and Ariana are ready to board with tickets in hand!
Our seasoned travelers are walking down to their plane. They got to be the very first ones on the plane!
Here is their plane, ready to take off to Portland. We LOVE Southwest airlines! They treated our kids very well...even when Grandma and Papa were stuck in traffic when their plane landed. Maile told us that a very nice man who was actually on break, offered to take care of them. Another Southwest worker who actually used to live in Chicago, took care of our kids as well while they waited for the party train to pick them up. It's nice to know that your kids are in good hands! We can't say enough about all of our Southwest experiences. We miss our kids SO much! It's amazing how not having them around for even 24 hours effects us to greatly. I don't know how we are going to make the 2 weeks!!! We love you, Maile, Regan, and Ariana! There isn't a moment that goes by that we aren't thinking about you and missing you!!! We can't wait for the 4th of July!!!
