We haven't posted for almost a week because I got the flu which landed me flat in bed until pretty much today. The kids have gotten it in various degrees. Whenever one gets a sickness in our home, the other kids will get it mainly because they are always together. They sleep together, they play together, etc. Ah the price for family togetherness! :-) Ryan is the only one that has not gotten sick. He took off a couple days last week to take care of things. He is forever my amazing prince!!! Knock on wood that he doesn't get sick as well!
Today is March 2nd...and it's snowing!!! I didn't want to open the door to take the picture, so I took it through our door, hence the screen in the picture. Ah the teens and snowing in March! We think it's so unfair that the stores here have all had their warm weather clothes out to taunt us so! We can't wait for spring break so that spring will officially come.
I took these last week before getting sick. The kids were eating apples with their dinner when they all started busting up laughing at Eva. She has an interesting way of eating apples. She doesn't like the skins of the apples, so she eats them down like a cantaloupe. The kids laughed as they saw here eating like that and tried to mimic her apple mouth.
Here is our little apple princess showing everyone how to eat an apple the "Eva way." She would let go of her hands and have the apple across her face. We tried to take a picture of her apple face, but she wouldn't do it for the camera. This was the best we got. :-)
