We had a fun St. Paddy's day. We feasted on corned beef, mashed baby reds, salad, cabbage, and Irish soda bread. It was quite delicious if I do say so! We had 73 degree weather, so the kids were very excited about playing outside without coats and not as excited to eat, hence the picture of craziness. Oh..top of da mornin to you all!

We tried numerous times to take a good picture...here is the other best one. Notice some of the kids have run away at this point. Good thing we don't have Irish tempers about this!

As we were eating, I noticed that Regan was busy doing something with his dinner. He took the raisins out of his Irish soda bread and made a mashed potato mickey mouse hat wearing, corned beef arm and mouth "potato snow man." Love the creativity on this!!!

Ariana saw his creation and decided to do the same with her own interpretation on it. Way to go kids! Glad to see that the food was good for something...they soon ran out to play after making this. Don't really know how much they ate. Who can blame them when the weather is so good?! These are the joys of living in Chicago. We will go without food to enjoy sunshine and warmth!!!
