Friday evening, we had a long dress rehearsal. Poor Kyla finally got to go onstage at 9:30 at night. She was one of the last to perform of the night. The ballet company has a contract with a photographer, so we were only allowed to take pictures at the dress rehearsal and weren't allowed to use our flashes, so this is what we ended up with. Ryan and I were smiling when we watched our ham of a daughter perform. She was the only one to pick the color blue for her costume. They danced the "Unbirthday party" song from Alice in Wonderland.
We loved her facial expressions and hand gestures!
During part of the performance, Kyla got nervous and looked down. It was super cute! We love this little bright light!
