While my family was here over the Christmas holiday, we bought a new sectional sofa. I must say that we have Dan to thank for this. We bought a sleeper sofa for our basement from Costco a bit ago. When the delivery guys brought it in, it wouldn't fit downstairs, so we put it in our family room instead. Ryan and I were not impressed with the couch. It was brand new, yet had staples coming out of it and what not. The sofa bed was used a few times and ended up ripping from the springs. My personal favorite is that the middle seat would sag, so we had to put a pillow underneath it to support it, but even then, the middle seat sitter would feel the wood frame on their tush. It felt like the couch was more like a 15 year old couch than a new one. We love Costco, but dragged our feet about taking it back. While Dan was here, he suggested we take it back. We didn't think that they would since it wasn't purchased within the year, but they did. Can I just say that we LOVE Costco!!! They are such an amazing store! We were very impressed to say the least. We wanted to buy another couch from Costco, but the only sectional they had was the wrong configuration for our family room. Anyways, Dan spearheaded it and went out with us to multiple stores with us as well as Mom and Heather on different days. We ended up buying our new sectional from Walter E. Smithe, a Chicago furniture store. We LOVE it!

The kids love sitting on our new sectional. They will run upstairs to get blankets and then snuggle up on it.

I walked into the room and saw Maile tucking in Eva into her Carmine blanket. So cute! Thanks Dan for helping us get our new sectional!
