Christmas break

Well, it has been a while since we posted, but we have enjoyed having everyone here too much to post it while they were here. So...here we go with the grand catch up....November was awesome here in Chicago. It was warm...for here...sunny, and clear. December roared in and has given us cold temps...sub zero wind chills and lots of snow. Lucky for all my visiting family!!! :-) Ariana made a cute snowman in our front yard. I gave her chocolate chips for the smile, but found her back in the kitchen getting more chocolate because, "Kyla ate the snowman's smile." That night, we had an ice storm that encased EVERYTHING with ice, including her snowman. We woke up to find his poor arms on the ground because they were too heavy for the snowman to hold up with the weight of the ice on the branches.
Our beautiful Ohana from Hawaii sent us the most delicious smelling gift from, "Scentsy" a non-flame scent maker. We opened up the box and it was like the Mary Poppin's bag where things kept coming out of it. SO many delightful smells! Eva was like an addict and kept smelling them. We have had fun warming different smells throughout the house. Every time we come in the door, we say, "WOW! It smells SO good in here!" Thank you Ramanlal Ohana! We love you more than words could ever adequately say!

Ariana decided she wanted to see what it would be like to be Ella our dog, so she climbed into her crate. She even had the kids lock her in. Glad she is smiling in it...bet she wouldn't have been still smiling if we all ran away with her locked inside. :-)

The girls love doing puzzles. G-ma Red bought different princess puzzles which the girls have loved playing with during the break! A definite hit with this crowd!
