Jelly Belly Factory

This past week has been a wild one to say the least. On Saturday, Ryan called from helping a family move into a new home, and said, "Let's be crazy and spontaneous and drive to Wisconsin to the Jelly Belly Factory when I get home." So we finished cleaning up the house and loaded up the kids for our short road trip. Here we are leaving for our adventure. We love road trips!
It was a little colder than we thought it would be. We didn't bring our jackets and it was lightly raining as well. So as we walked up to the front, we tried to snap the picture really fast, but the cold got to us and we just stuck with this one...the one where most of the kids are enamored with the Jelly Belly VW Bug. I love how Ryan is trying to get the kids to look at the camera but they couldn't do it with the car there!

Once on the train, I tried to quickly take another picture before it took off...here are some of our happy family members ready for the tour. After the train tour, each person gets a bag of jelly bellys. The kids really liked this part. We let the kids pick one additional item in the store. They had fun shopping the dollar deals. Ryan and I were really impressed at how well the kids behaved while there. They were PERFECT! It is one of those parental moments that you feel so grateful for because let's face it, with a 3 year old in the equation, the odds just don't look good, but they did...so it made the trip that much sweeter! We have the best kids!!!

Here we are in the car on our way back home. The kids had fun sharing what they each picked out.

When we got home, Ariana opened up her jelly bellys and made a picture like they did at the factory. She made it of two fish eating food. :-)
