Last week, the girls had their piano recital. Maile was simply amazing. She no longer plays the younger books, but is playing songs that are more mature. She is quite the talented player! She has asked to stop playing...but being the mean parents that we are...wa haa haa haa...we won't let her quit. :-) She is growing up before our eyes!
Ariana started taking piano lessons recently. She has done quite well. We find her on the piano all the time playing familiar songs that she plucks out on her own with humming and piano playing without the music sheets before her eyes. One time, Ryan and I heard a song that Maile likes to play, but instead of finding Maile at the piano, it was Ariana. At their concert, Ariana was funny...she would swing her legs back and forth while playing. She was a beautiful pianist!
