Well..this is pretty much the only picture we have of our fourth of July party...it was in the beginning before things got shaking and moving. We had our dear friends, the Maloto family from across the street as well as our neighbors to the side of us, Joni and Dean and their cute kids along with Jeff aka "Giggles", Michael's friend from Oregon days and BYU days, and beyond along with all of this motley crew. It was a house full of fun! We ate some serious food...Ryan BBQ'd. We enjoyed chatting it up as well as playing our family favorite game, "Big Bootie." Now the neighbors were a little skeptical when they heard that we were going to play this game, but they saw the fun in it as we started playing. We heard that Joni and Dean introduced the game to their family at a party they had with their extended fam. We also enjoyed a firework show thanks to the after morning golf game the boys had planned joined with a trip to Indiana for their pyro show purchases. It was the first time that Dad didn't do his annual firework show at home....I can honestly say that I have never seen a firework show better than my Dad's in Oregon. To bring memories back, they bought the parachute firework and we relived having the kids chase to find the parachute men. It was a blast!

Mom says that we are still her babies no matter what, so Michael and I climbed into her lap as best we could for some snuggle time...and yes..you can tell who got the tan genes and who didn't. No...I am not wearing white stockings...those are real, folks! Someone needs to see some sun!

We enjoyed going for a walk with everyone. Ariana brought some chalk and marked "x's" along the way so we would be able to find our home just in case we forgot where we lived. The other day, we saw a woman jogging along our front sidewalk and Ariana told me that the lady will know where to go because of her "x's."

Here is little Eva. She enjoys being outside and being with the big kids. We just have to be careful because she also has acquired the "bolting genes."
